USA tour 2005

In the winter of 2005 Voci Nobili travelled from rainy Bergen to the United States. The choir brought along a large and diverse concert program which they performed in front of several thousand people in both large cities like New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and several smaller places. This was a unique opportunity to sing for a sophisticated and knowledgeable audience, and the choir experienced an overwhelming reception and interest in Maria Gamborg Helbekkmo’s work.

Voci Nobili was invited as a guest choir to the national convention of the American Choral Directors’ Association in Los Angeles, and their concerts were received with rapt attention and standing ovations. Joining the choir was their regular accompanist, pianist Geir Botnen and tour manager Eirik Fluge.
